Terms and Condition

By accessing or using the mental health support app (the “App”) developed by Jayaprakash Institute of Social Change (referred to as “we”, “our” or  “us”), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions (the ‘Agreement’). If you do not agree with these terms, you must not use the App.

1. Use of the App

You agree to use the App solely for personal, non-commercial purposes and in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. You must not:

1.  Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
2. Violate any local, state, or international laws or regulations.
3. Engage in any activity that could harm or disrupt the App\'s operation.

2. User Accounts

To access certain features of the App, you may need to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information during the registration process and maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

3. Mood Tracker and Emotional Data

The App includes a mood tracker to help monitor emotional well-being. By using the mood tracker, you agree that:

1. The data you input is voluntary and may be stored and analyzed within the App for the purpose of tracking your emotional states.
2. The data you provide will not be shared with third parties without your consent, except as outlined in the Privacy Policy.

4. Intellectual Property

All content and materials in the App, including text, graphics, logos, and software, are the property of Jayaprakash Institute of Social Change or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited,non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for its intended purpose.

1. The App provides informational resources related to mental health, but it is not a substitute for professional medical advice or treatment.
2. We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of the information provided in the App.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jayaprakash Institute of Social Change shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data or emotional distress.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at our sole discretion if we believe you have violated these Terms and Conditions.

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Any changes will be posted in the app with a revised ‘Effective Date.’  Your continued use of the App after such changes will constitute your acceptance of the revised Terms.
